Wire Cutting Machining, scientifically known as Wire Electrical Discharge Machining (WEDM), is an advanced non-contact manufacturing process that utilizes a continuously moving thin brass wire to erode conductive materials via high-frequency sparks. Unlike traditional CNC milling, Wire EDM exerts zero mechanical force on the workpiece.
